Not Just a Quick Fix

I guess we humans have a habit of complicating our lives and then panicking when we realize that we can no longer control things. A very wise person once told me that we tend to look for quick fix solutions instead of solving and rectifying errors. You might be wondering at the philosophical insight, but my recent tryst with computer problems has indeed made me wonder at the abuse our machines have to undergo at our hands each day!  But seriously, wouldn’t it be great if we could get something for our computers, which not only acted as quick fix solution but also helped eliminate errors in the long run. In fact my quest to search for a solution to my cousin’s problem of having a very slow computer, actually made me hunt for something that did exactly this.

Like we complicate our lives, we complicate our computers too. We load them with data and programs, expose them to viruses, adware and malware but what we don’t do is – take care of them. Our computers need care and attention too! I know I’m being sentimental, after all it’s a piece of machinery, why should we be so attached to it? Well, for starters, my whole life is stored on my computer; it is filled with photos, music, movies and work stuff. Imagine getting up in the morning and not being able to send an email because your computer is too slow!  This is exactly what was happening with my cousin, her laptop was way too slow.

Just like before the Internet came to my rescue and recommended PC Optimization, which was not only a quick fix solution but was a long term problem solving mechanism. In my short alternative career as a computer problem solver, I had never heard of PC Optimization tool, but then every website recommended it, so I decided to read upon it. As it turns out, through PC optimization you not only improve the speed and performance of the computer but also increase its response time at startup, and prevent registry corruption. PC optimization does all of this  by cleaning up registry build up and removing programs that slow down speed of  the computer. The more I read about optimizing your PC, the more convinced I became about its abilities to not only solve slow computer problem but also to act as a soothing balm for my bruised ego. I could still lay claim to the fact that I did find a solution even if I did not manually open my cousin’s laptop and clean it!

So, like wise people, we invested in a PC optimization tool for my cousin’s laptop. The tool immediately got working; it deleted unwanted registries and repaired invalid registries, as they could have led to error messages and system crashes. This PC optimization tool then deleted programs that were lying in my cousin’s laptop and were never used – basically cleaned clutter. It also customized firewall settings to block adware and filter spam. But the truly most amazing thing this tool did, was to create more space on the hard disk, it deleted junk and temporary files thus freeing up more memory space. Okay so all of this does sound like a quick fix right? But wait, before you become too judgmental, look at the long term benefits, the tool cleared clutter and created more space for the laptop to work smoothly and moreover it could be used again to increase the performance of the computer if there was need!
